‎Hello Hive,

‎We have all had those moments when something gets under our skin. Maybe someone spoke to us in a way we didn't like, a friend let us down, or things simply didn't go the way we expected. It's easy to stay angry, replay the situation in our minds, and let it ruin the rest of the day.

‎A while ago, I came across a quote that really made me stop and think. It said, "Every time you get upset at something, ask yourself: if I were to die tomorrow, would it be worth wasting my time being angry?" That question hit me harder than I expected.

‎The truth is, life is fragile. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring. We make plans, chase goals, and worry about all sorts of things, but life can change in the blink of an eye. When I think about that, I realize that many of the things I get upset over are not as important as they seem in the moment.

‎I'm not saying we should never feel angry. We are human, and emotions are part of life. There are situations where anger is completely understandable. But I have learned that holding on to that anger for too long only steals my peace. Most of the time, the person I'm angry with has already moved on, while I'm the one still carrying the weight.

‎When I look back at some of the arguments or disappointments I had a few years ago, I can barely remember what they were even about. At that time, they felt like the biggest problems in the world. Now, they don't matter at all. That reminds me that many of today's worries will probably feel just as small in the future.

‎These days, whenever I feel myself getting worked up, I try to pause before reacting. I ask myself, "Will this still matter next week? Next month? Or if today turned out to be my last day, is this really how I'd want to spend it?" More often than not, the answer is no.

‎Life is already full of challenges. We don't need to make it heavier by holding on to every offence. Sometimes the best decision is not proving that we are right but it's protecting our own peace of mind.

‎At the end of the day, I'd rather spend my time making memories, laughing with the people I love, and appreciating the little blessings around me than wasting precious moments on anger. Life is too short for that.

‎Thanks for reading!!!!
