‎Hello Hives,

‎Today marks Day 10 of raising my broilers and noilers, and I’m happy to say that they are still doing very well. Watching them grow each day has been encouraging, and I'm grateful that there has been no mortality so far. Their feathers are coming out nicely, they are more active, and their appetite keeps improving.

‎One thing I have learned about poultry farming is that good results don't happen by chance. Healthy birds require proper feeding, clean water, a clean environment, and preventive care. Rather than waiting for diseases to appear, I prefer taking natural steps that can help keep my birds healthy from the beginning.

‎As part of that effort, I recently got Christmas melon, popularly known as Tagiri in Yoruba. Many local poultry farmers believe Tagiri has medicinal properties that can support the health of chickens. It has been used traditionally to help strengthen birds, improve their resistance to certain illnesses, and promote overall well-being. Although it should never replace proper management or veterinary care when needed, it can serve as a useful natural supplement.

‎I enjoy learning about natural remedies because they are often affordable and easy to find. Since restarting my poultry project, I have already been using some herbal preparations, and now I want to add Tagiri to the routine. My goal is simple: to give my birds every possible chance to grow into healthy, strong chickens without relying solely on commercial medications.

‎At this stage, my birds are growing steadily, and I'm pleased with their progress. The broilers are already showing the fast growth they are known for, while the noilers are also developing well. Every morning when I check on them, I can clearly see the difference compared to when I brought them home just ten days ago.

‎I won't be using the Tagiri immediately without proper preparation. In my next update, I will show exactly how I prepare Christmas melon (Tagiri) for my poultry, including the simple steps I follow before giving it to the birds. I believe this will be helpful, especially for those who are interested in using natural methods to support poultry health.

‎Thank you for following this journey with me. I hope my daily updates continue to encourage and educate anyone who is interested in poultry farming. Feel free to share your own experiences if you have ever used Tagiri or other natural herbs for your birds. I would love to learn from you as well.
