Hello Hives,
Sometimes, I wonder what I would do if I woke up one morning and had the power to make decisions that could change Hive for the better. Honestly, I don't think I would try to change everything at once. There are already many good things about Hive that make people want to stay, and I would not want to destroy those things while trying to introduce something new.

For me, Hive is more than just a place to publish posts and earn rewards. It is a place where I can share my thoughts, talk about things that happen in my life, learn from other people, and enjoy the company with my amazing friends. I have come to appreciate the freedom it gives me to express myself. That is one of the reasons I keep coming back.
But if I had the power to manage Hive for just one day just like the prompt suggest, there is one thing I would really love to work on: making people feel that their presence on Hive matters, whether they are old members or newcomers.
I Would Pay More Attention to Small Creators
One thing I would love to see is more encouragement for people who are still trying to find their feet on Hive.
Imagine spending time writing a post, carefully choosing your words, and sharing something meaningful, only for it to receive little or no attention. I believe many people have experienced this feeling at one time or another.
Of course, not every post can receive the same rewards, and I understand that. But I would encourage more members to look beyond the familiar authors they already know and discover other people who are making an effort.
Sometimes, a simple comment can encourage someone to write again. You never know how much that little act of kindness might mean to another person.
I Would Make It Easier for Newcomers
If there is another thing I would change, it would be the way new members are welcomed.
Starting on Hive can be confusing when you don't understand how everything works. Some people may even give up before they get the chance to discover what makes this platform special.
I would encourage experienced members to help newcomers understand the basics, find communities that interest them, and learn how to improve their content.
I believe that when people feel welcomed and supported, they have more reasons to stay.
My Dream for Hive
I would not pretend that I could solve every problem in just twenty-four hours. That would be unrealistic. But I believe small changes can lead to something bigger when people are willing to come and work together.
If I had the power, I would promote genuine engagement, encourage new writers, and remind everyone that there is a real person behind every account.
At the end of the day, I want Hive to grow, not just in the number of users, but also in the quality of relationships people build here.
After all, what is the point of having a large community if we don't make an effort to support one another?
