Hello Hives,
Have you ever looked at your life and felt like you were not where you were supposed to be?
Yes, I have.

Sometimes it happens when I see someone I know achieving something I have also been hoping for. Maybe someone gets a better job, starts a successful business, buys a car, builds a house, travels to places I have only seen in pictures, or simply seems to have figured life out.
I won't lie, sometimes it gets to me.
You can be truly happy for someone and still silently wonder when your own turn will come. I think that is one of those feelings people don't always talk about because nobody wants to sound jealous or ungrateful.
But feeling behind does not necessarily mean you don't appreciate what you have.
There have been moments when I have looked at my own progress and thought, “Am I really moving forward or making progress at all?”
The funny thing is that when I look back properly, I realise that I have actually made progress. Maybe it is not the kind of progress that attracts attention or gets posted on social media, but it is still progress.
I have learned things. I have made mistakes. I have taken responsibilities. I have faced difficult moments and somehow found the strength to keep going.
And that counts for something.
One thing I am learning gradually is that life cannot be measured using another person's clock.
Someone may achieve something at 25 that another person achieves at 35. I think I mentioned something like this in one of post few days ago. Someone may struggle for years before finally getting an opportunity. Another person may appear to have everything early in life but still be dealing with problems nobody knows about.
We only see a little part of people's lives.
So I have started trying to focus less on where other people are and more on where I am going.
I still have dreams. I still have things I want to accomplish. I still have moments when I wish certain things had happened sooner. But I don't want impatience to make me blind to the things I already have.
These days, when that feeling of being behind comes, I remind myself to keep working, keep praying and keep believing that my own time will come.
I don't have to arrive at the same time as everyone else or other people .
Maybe I am not behind.
Maybe my journey is simply taking a different route.
And honestly, I am learning to be okay with that.
Thanks for Reading
