Hello Hives,
One thing I have noticed over the years is that some people seem to think making others feel small somehow makes them look bigger. They insult people, bully them, or use their position to intimidate others just so they can feel important. But if you ask me, that's not strength at all. It's actually a sign of weakness.

To me, truly strong people don't have to prove anything. They don't go around looking for someone to embarrass or put down. They know who they are, so they have no reason to make someone else feel less than they are. That's the kind of confidence I admire.
Sadly, we see the opposite almost every day. It happens in schools, workplaces, on social media, and even within families. Some people enjoy criticizing others or making hurtful comments because it gives them a temporary sense of control. The sad part is that those words can stay with someone for a long time. A careless joke or a harsh comment might seem small to the person saying it, but it could leave a lasting mark on the person hearing it.
I have come to believe that the way we treat people says a lot about our character. It's easy to be kind when everything is going well, but our real nature shows when we are frustrated, angry, or dealing with people who can't offer us anything in return. That's when kindness becomes a choice rather than a convenience.
Of course, everyone gets upset sometimes. We are human. But there's a big difference between expressing your feelings and deliberately hurting someone just to feel powerful. One builds understanding, while the other creates pain that often spreads from one person to another.
I think the world would be a much better place if more people realized that lifting others up doesn't make you smaller. In fact, it does the opposite. Encouraging someone, showing respect, or simply choosing your words carefully can make a bigger difference than you may ever know.
At the end of the day, real power is not about making people fear you. It's about earning their respect. Anyone can tear another person down, but it takes maturity, confidence, and genuine strength to build people up. That's the kind of strength worth having, and it's the kind I hope more of us choose every single day.
Thanks for reading!!!!
