As we progress day by day, the world just keeps on presenting us with new technological innovations. Some gadgets we are faced with today were once fantasies, but today they have turned into realities. There are quite a few devices I've imagined. They may appear to be crazy right now, but in some years to come they may turn out to be realities.
Some of them may currently be works in progress; who knows? Anyway, down to my dream devices, there are many of them, but I'll just put down two in this post because I could really make use of them quite frequently. Let's start with something quite simple.
1. Smart glasses
You're probably wondering about the feature of the Smart glasses, I'll tell you. You know how we sometimes misplace things in the house, and it sometimes leaves us turning the whole place upside down just to find it? You'll agree with me that it can be quite frustrating sometimes, especially the part where you even have to search for the missing items when you don't even remember going towards them before they got missing.
In such situations, I have always imagined that I was able to scan the room where the item is missing to be able to locate where it is, instead of having to turn the whole place upside down. Now, this is where my Smart glasses come in.
Imagine having an eyeglass that you can put on that enables you to scan a particular area, revealing things that are even covered by some objects.
That way, you are being saved from a lot of stress. You won't be worried whenever you misplace something. For those who have little kids, you won't even be worried about entrusting some things with them because even if they misplace it somewhere in the house, it'll take you only a few minutes or even seconds to recover it.
2. Air-conditioned Jacket
I remember my days of being a student, when we had to stay under the burning sun while standing in a queue in front of a bookshop to get an irrelevant book we were mandated to buy Or the times I walked under the hot sun to make it to our lecture hall, or while even staying under the hot sun waiting for a means of transport—either by shuttle, or tricycle, or bike—that can accommodate us and take us to our destination.
The sun in my country can be quite intense. Sometimes I wonder if my country is closer to the sun than other countries because of the intensity of the heat during summer. It would be nice to have something that can cool you off while under the sun. Sure, there's a micro fan that's been produced that one can carry around even while on the road.
But it's mainly used for the face. But what about your underarms, which are the central spot for sweating? And it'd be kind of awkward putting a fan around your underarms in public to receive breeze. But with my imaginary air-conditioned Jacket–as the name implies, a jacket with AC features—when turned on, it leaves you with a cooling sensation within the Jacket so that you don't have to end up being all sweaty by the time you get home.
I guess the Jacket would be rechargeable, right? I mean it has to be. Please don't mind me; this is just me being imaginative.
There you have it, those are two devices I wish I could live to see exist in this century.
