Discovering a spaceship in my backyard while digging to do one or two things is quite an intriguing thing that holds lots of possibilities that could either favor me or do the opposite, and in this article I'd be exploring both possibilities and why I feel it'll be so. On a norm, discovering such would be a thought-provoking thing because I'd have to begin to wonder and try to wrap my head around how we can have a spaceship that's over a hundred million years old, meanwhile humanity's advancements in that area aren't even up to seven decades yet. There are lots of things that could be uncovered, discoveries to be made, and below I'd talk about it in detail.

For a spaceship discovered in my backyard to have been in existence for that long, then it means there have been ancient technologies we don't know about due to one occurrence that interfered with humans' record-keeping and the like, and for me to see such in my backyard, like I said, it could either be a blessing or a curse for me, and here is why. You see, it could be a blessing in the sense that after seeing such, I can not only explore it but can also dig it out, clean it up, and turn my house into a museum or explorer's destination, which could go on to earn me money and recognition.
It can go the other way round into a curse in the sense that the government always takes any discovery of resources or artifacts to be theirs, and having such an enormous spaceship in my house could result in the government not only trying to take the spaceship and explore it but also trying to chase me off my land so they can dig out all other surrounding lands so they can know if there are more items hidden in the ground under my properties. This could even lead to the pulling down of my house, especially if something else was discovered to be under the ground. Although I understand they might want to pay me off for the place, it still requires starting all over and moving to a new place.
So in a nutshell, if discovering such won't attract the government officials to try and take control of it for research purposes, which I'm certain would definitely happen, but if they don't come, I'd turn my house into an exploration destination and try as much as possible to get other things that can encourage people to come so I can seize the opportunity to earn some cash for myself since I discovered it. But if the government officials come, I'd have no choice but to let them have it so archaeologists can study it and then give it to technology experts to look into it; maybe there are things that can be of benefit to reshaping our technology sector.

So that's about it on what I'll do if I were to find a spaceship hidden under the ground in my backyard. I won't be selling it, and neither would I be giving it to a museum; like I've stated, what I'd do to it depends on two possibilities.
