There's this common saying that goes thus: blood is thicker than water. One of the ways this has been interpreted is the fact that family bonds are more closely knitted than what one can have with someone outside. And I actually do agree with it, because family is everything anyone can have. Having a family is like having multiple lifelines, and that's because a family that stays together will stand by each other through thick and thin, and that's why it's always encouraged for families to strengthen their bond with each other, but how can that be done? Below I'll be sharing my take on these and different things revolving around them.

When it comes to how families can strengthen their bond, there are lots of ways that can be done, but top of the list for me is the need to constantly spend quality time together with each other. These can be done via eating together, going out together or celebrating different special occasions as family. Another way we can strengthen the bond between families is through open and honest communication between everyone in the family. A family that wants to bond must be ready to encourage each member to encourage each other to express their thoughts/feelings. While doing that, others must also learn to listen without judging and, most of all, be ready to resolve any conflict through mutual respect and understanding.

Still, on how family bonds can be strengthened, it is how family members must support one another; this could be through emotions, being there for one another or celebrating or helping each other attain milestones. We must also show love and appreciation towards one another; working together is another important one, as is practising forgiveness amongst family members, because unforgiveness can break the family apart.

On the other hand, if we're to state how the bond between families can influence an individual's life, there are actually lots of ways that can happen. The first is how such an individual will have great emotional wellbeing, free from anxiety, loneliness and the like. It also increases self-confidence, knowing fully well that they're not alone. Another is that it gives such an individual more resilience against failure, disappointment and setbacks. Having all of these can groom an individual to become the best version of themselves, to the point where they'll face any challenges head-on and triumph.
