The world is evolving by the day, and so is humanity and the places we stay. Gone are the days when everyone lived in huts and villages, which are typical rural settings. Nowadays, the evolution of the human race has taken a great turn even in terms of housing and development, and that's why we now have urban areas with state-of-the-art infrastructure and architectural devices that'll literally leave one jaw-dropping. And for these reasons most people want to enjoy the latest trend and stay in the urban areas where they'll have access to basically everything they need, and in this article I'll be talking about which I prefer between both, if finance, security, transportation, and access to quality healthcare aren't problems.

You see, being an introvert, almost everyone knows that people with my kind of traits tend to love living a solitary lifestyle; that's why we enjoy being in our own space and comfort zone. Basically, we enjoy peace, quiet, silence, and tranquility. And when you seek such between rural and urban areas, there's no atom of doubt that the rural area is the place that can offer such easily. So given the fact that a rural area would make my kind of lifestyle possible, would I then prefer to stay in such a place at the expense of enjoying all that the modern world has to offer?

The truth is that despite my love for peace and tranquility and the awareness that this can be made possible more effectively via staying in a rural area, it's worth noting that I won't like to stay there. I'm sure you'll be wondering why; well, the reason isn't far-fetched. You see, I've at one point in time stayed in a rural area before, and even though where I stay presently isn't entirely a rural area, I still won't regard it as an urban area because it doesn't have the majority of the facilities, infrastructure, and skyscraper-like buildings you'll see in urban areas, and these are things I'd like to experience during my lifetime, and so for that reason I want a change, and that's why I'm picking staying in an urban area over a rural area.

I'd like to visit different places, enjoy and try new things, and all of these can mostly be seen in urban areas. I want to experience almost all that technology has to offer and live a comfortable life that doesn't come with the stress of rural areas, despite my love for nature and eating fresh meals. Since morning isn't or security isn't a problem, then I can always purchase fresh food or vegetables each time I need one and not be afraid that I'll be eating one that is chemically enhanced, and I can also make sure my land has a big enough space to have my own farm or garden where I can plant things and enjoy the fresh air and beauty a rural area has to offer while still staying in an urban area.

So that's about it on where I'd love to stay between rural and urban areas and the reason behind my decision. Which would you prefer to stay between, both or neither, and why?
