Fin de semana con familia y amigos, sin duda es un excelente plan, y si a ello le sumamos la belleza y disfrute de una playa, pues mucho mejor aún. Aprovecho las bondades de esta bonita comunidad para comentarles sobre mi viaje a la playa de la semana pasada, junto con mi esposa, mi cuñada, el sobrino y una querida amiga.
Fue un viaje un tanto complicado, hablando de la ida, debido a que viajamos en transporte y no en vehículo particular, así que nos tomó mucho más tiempo del planificado, pero con todo y eso pudimos llegar a tiempo para disfrutar de un hermoso paisaje alrededor de las 2 de la tarde. El fuerte sol nos invitaba a bañarnos en la playa cuanto antes. Por eso, dejamos las pertenencias en la posada, la cual recomiendo al 100% porque nos trataron como reyes, y enseguida salimos a deleitarnos con la rica agua que nos ofrecía el mar.
Ya es la tercera vez que visitamos este lugar y es que, además de su gran belleza, el mar es muy tranquilo y el agua cálida, algo que me encanta porque puedo estar mucho tiempo bañándome sin que el frio me ataque. Esta vez había muchísimas personas debido a que se están disputando los juegos nacionales y decidieron hacer la competencia de piragüismo justo en esta playa, pero eso no impidió que pudiéramos disfrutar al máximo de la experiencia.
Salimos el día viernes y regresamos el día sábado por lo que no había tiempo que perder. Además de disfrutar de la playa, aprovechamos la oportunidad para comer pescado fresco, muy fresco. Es impresionante la diferencia entre el sabor que tiene al ser apenas sacado del mar. Sin duda una experiencia que no puede faltar cuando visitamos una playa.
Por cierto, el nombre de la playa es Cochaima, ubicada en un sector conocido como Santa Fe, en el estado Sucre. Dado que somos de Maturín, el viaje de ida nos tomó casi 5 horas, pero valió la pena cada minuto invertido en este viaje. La arena es muy suave y se extiende hasta el propio mar por lo que resulta muy agradable nadar o caminar en ella.
Un detalle adicional muy positivo es la seguridad que hay en la zona, siempre es así, pero esta vez debido a los juegos nacionales había mucha más presencia policial haciendo que estuviéramos mucho más tranquilos, lo que resulta muy agradable debido a que la intención de ir a la playa era dejar atrás el estrés y la preocupación del día a día. No se presentó ningún inconveniente en todo el viaje.
Mi cuñada se tuvo que venir muy temprano el día sábado debido a compromisos personales, pero los 3 que quedamos seguimos disfrutando de la hermosa playa. Hasta intentamos pescar pero, debido a la falta de experiencia y herramientas, fue imposible. Creo que los peces se estaban riendo de nosotros, pero de igual manera fue un momento muy divertido. Espero podamos regresar pronto a este lugar. Y si en algún momento tienen la oportunidad de visitar esta playa, no duden en hacerlo porque seguro no se arrepentirán.

A weekend with family and friends is undoubtedly an excellent plan, and if we add to it the beauty and enjoyment of a beach, it is even better. I take advantage of the benefits of this beautiful community to tell you about my trip to the beach last week, with my wife, my sister-in-law, my nephew and a dear friend.
It was a somewhat complicated trip, speaking of the outward journey, because we traveled by transport and not in a private vehicle, so it took us much longer than planned, but we were able to arrive in time to enjoy the beautiful scenery around 2 pm. The strong sun was inviting us to swim in the beach as soon as possible. Therefore, we left our belongings at the inn, which I recommend 100% because they treated us like kings, and we immediately went out to enjoy the rich water that the sea offered us.
This is already the third time we have visited this place and, in addition to its great beauty, the sea is very calm and the water is warm, something I love because I can spend a long time bathing without being attacked by the cold. This time there were a lot of people because the national games are being held here and they decided to do the canoeing competition right on this beach, but that did not prevent us from enjoying the experience to the fullest.
We left on Friday and returned on Saturday, so there was no time to waste. Besides enjoying the beach, we took the opportunity to eat fresh fish, very fresh. It is impressive the difference between the taste it has when it is just taken out of the sea. Undoubtedly an experience that cannot be missed when visiting a beach.
By the way, the name of the beach is Cochaima, located in a sector known as Santa Fe, in the state of Sucre. The sand is very soft and extends to the sea itself so it is very pleasant to swim or walk on it.
An additional very positive detail is the security in the area, it is always like this, but this time due to the national games there was much more police presence making us much calmer, which is very nice because the intention of going to the beach was to leave behind the stress and worry of day to day life. There were no inconveniences during the whole trip.
My sister-in-law had to leave very early on Saturday due to personal commitments, but the 3 of us that were left still enjoyed the beautiful beach. We even tried fishing but, due to lack of experience and tools, it was impossible. I think the fish were laughing at us, but it was still a fun time. I hope we can come back to this place soon. And if you ever have the opportunity to visit this beach, don't hesitate to do it because you won't regret it.
