El domingo pasado se me ocurrió ir de paseo al shopping de Caballito. Hacía muchos años que no iba, por lo que esperaba encontrarme con un lugar que podría haber cambiado de forma drástica a como lo conocía. Es más, todo indica que el McDonald's que está al lado es una extensión del shopping.
Last Sunday I decided to go for a walk to the Caballito shopping mall. It had been many years since I had been there, so I expected to find a place that might have changed drastically from the way I knew it. A diferencia de otros shopping que he mostrado, estos tienen los locales tradicionales que se ubican en los laterales, lo que permite un tránsito de personas más fluido. Eso sí, no es algo que parezca muy visitado a simple vista, pero tampoco es que no hay nadie, pues se pueden ver familias recorriendo el lugar, aunque no vi mucha gente comprando. Sí logré ver personas que tomaban algún café o comida.
No sé si esto tiene algo que ver con el precio de los productos, pero a decir verdad, si bien los precios han bajado considerablemente, aún siguen siendo un poco altos; al menos para mi gusto, por lo que seguramente recurriría a segundas marcas.
Unlike other shopping malls that I have shown, these have the traditional stores that are located on the sides, which allows a more fluid traffic of people. Of course, it is not something that seems very visited at first glance, but it is not that there is no one, because you can see families walking around the place, although I did not see many people shopping. I did manage to see people having some coffee or food.
I don't know if this has anything to do with the price of the products, but to tell the truth, although the prices have dropped considerably, they are still a bit high; at least for my taste, so I would probably go for second brands.
Como había mencionado anteriormente, los lugares para comer algo en familia, o bien en solitario (suena mal, pero es un momento de paz que se da uno mismo) suelen estar llenos en estos lugares. En este caso los precios eran bastante accesibles, y las delicias se veían muy tentadoras.
La forma en que se ubican los demás comercios me pareció muy acertada, aprovechando el espacio de una forma muy atractiva para el cliente o visitante. Esto se extiende a lo largo del shopping, haciéndolo a uno pensar en que hubo un trabajo de arquitectura excelente.

La vista desde este piso es increíble, porque permite visualizar fácilmente los comercios, o a tu familia, que se ha quedado intrigada viendo algún producto en el piso de abajo.
Lo que me gusta es el acabado que tiene este pasillo peatonal, con luces cálidas que se logran combinar con unos tonos color arena muy atractivos. Sin dudas es un paseo que le hace muy bien a uno, más allá de si uno está con el fin de pasear o de realizar compras.

To both sides we can see the businesses located perfectly, although these seem much larger than those of the previous floors. For the merchant, I suppose that the cost of acquiring a store on this floor, should be higher in price, although I am not entirely aware, since a store on the first level could receive more people, and therefore, be more in demand.
So, would it be more convenient for a merchant to have more space or to have a small place but with more reception? I guess it is something to consider.
Los comercios de ropa son bastante elegantes, lo que hace pensar que los precios son de cierta exigencia monetaria. Con más sentido si vemos que no tienen precio los productos.

Volviendo a repetir la distribución de los comercios a través de esta arquitectura, pude ver un local que me llamaba la atención. No es que los demás no, pero la tecnología siempre fue algo que me interesó, y mucho.
En estos locales también podemos encontrar marcas reconocidas mundialmente, como lo es Samsung, así que fui a echar un vistazo de qué tipo de productos tenían en venta, aunque solo es para estar al tanto de las novedades jajaja.
Going back to repeat the distribution of stores through this architecture, I could see a store that caught my attention. Not that the others didn't, but technology has always been something that interested me, and a lot.

Y antes de salir del shopping, no iba a perderme la oportunidad de ir al McDonald's. Pero esta vez, solo pidiendo un café con medialunas dulces. Claro que ahora el pedido se tiene que realizar a través de una pantalla, así que fue una nueva experiencia que debí superar.
Algo gracioso fue que estuve buscando donde ir a buscar el pedido, hasta que recordé que este local tiene conexión con el shopping, y viceversa. Por lo que tuve que bajar dos pisos hasta dar con quienes me debían atender. No bajé por la escalera mecánica, sino por una escalera en caracol, que pensándolo bien, pareció un laberinto jajaja.
Otra cosa llamativa es que los tickets tienen un número, que es la clave para entrar al baño. Aunque yo no lo utilicé y preferí ir al baño común que tiene el shopping, que es de acceso público, como el de toda la vida.
And before leaving the mall, I was not going to miss the opportunity to go to McDonald's. But this time, just ordering a coffee with sweet croissants. Of course, now the order has to be placed through a screen, so it was a new experience that I had to overcome.
A funny thing was that I was looking for where to go to get the order, until I remembered that this place has a connection with the shopping mall, and vice versa. So I had to go down two floors until I found the people who were supposed to serve me. I didn't go down the escalator, but a spiral staircase, which, if you think about it, looked like a maze hahaha.
Another striking thing is that the tickets have a number, which is the key to enter the bathroom. Although I did not use it and I preferred to go to the common bathroom that the shopping mall has, which is public access, like the one we have always had.
La verdad que fue muy gratificante este paseo, y se suma a otros que ya tuve y sobre los que he publicado. Aunque he tomado muchas fotos paseando por un parque cercano, y también accedí a otro shopping que tiene incluido un cine, por lo que es probable que se los presente posteriormente, cuando disponga algo de tiempo.
