I visited Expo Joven and walked around Plaza San Martín | Enjoying a warm afternoon in San Justo, Buenos Aires
In the second part, we would meet Expo Joven 2024, which is the one I attended. On this occasion, different proposals from university students and some higher education institutions would be presented to us.
En la segunda parte nos encontraríamos con Expo Joven 2024, que es a la que asistí. En esta ocasión, se nos presentarían distintas propuestas de jóvenes universitarios y algunas instituciones superiores.
In my case, it was very good for me to visit this exhibition, to change things up a bit from the days that sometimes become quite monotonous. That said, I would have liked to find out a little earlier to attend the first part, which is the one that really interested me more because it was purely and exclusively about technology.
En mi caso me vino muy bien visitar esta exposición, para variar un poco de los días que algunas veces suelen volverse muy monótonos. Eso sí, me hubiese gustado enterarme un poco antes para poder asistir a la primer parte, que es la que realmente me interesaba más por ser pura y exclusivamente sobre tecnología.
Right next to the room for remembrance and justice, there was a room where the students managed to faithfully depict a scene of what happened. A very well-recreated work in my opinion, although somewhat disturbing, especially if you don't see the previous room first to have some context.
Justo al lado de la sala de pedido de memoria y justicia había una habitación en la que los estudiantes lograron manifestar fielmente una escena sobre lo sucedido. Un trabajo muy bien recreado en mi opinión, aunque un tanto perturbador, sobre todo si no ves antes la anterior sala para tener algún que otro contexto.
It seems like they were very excited while playing, as I stayed for a good amount of time watching them play and no one seemed to be leaving the booth.
Al parecer estaban muy entusiasmados jugando, ya que me quedé un buen tiempo viendo como jugaban y nadie parecía abandonar el puesto.
The good weather and sunlight did their part to have these magnificent images. It is worth mentioning that the square has been restored, it used to have a quite different appearance than it does now. It looks much more organized and clean than it was at some point when it was neglected.
El buen clima y la luz solar hicieron lo suyo para tener estas magníficas imágenes. Cabe decir que la plaza la han restaurado, antes tenía un aspecto bastante diferente al actual. Se ve mucho más ordenada y limpia que lo que fue alguna vez en que se la descuidó mucho.
Also around the square there were food stalls of all kinds. The aroma that could be felt was very attractive. There was also a dessert stand that looked really exquisite.
También por los alrededores de la plaza habían puestos de comida de todo tipo. El aroma que se podía sentir era muy atractivo. También había un puesto de postres que se veían realmente exquisitos.
I used to come to this square with my parents during my adolescence, even much earlier. It has changed a lot but in a favorable way. It may possibly be the new center of attraction in the next opportunities that arise, or at least a meeting point to consider.
A esta plaza venía con mis padres en mi adolescencia, incluso mucho antes. Ha cambiado mucho pero de manera favorable. Posiblemente sea el nuevo centro de atracción en las próximas oportunidades que se den, o al menos un punto de encuentro al que considerar.
