Occasions just like birthdays are one of my favorite because there were lots of foods and other sweet desserts that one can prepare. Most of the times, children were most likely have celebrations with lots of efforts to from their parents for their birthday.

Before my niece's birthday, my sister plans to celebrate her birthday in our hometown because last two years ago, they celebrated her birthday in Manila and she decided to have a birthday celebration here in our town because my dad also misses his grand daughter.
They will only spend their summer vacation in our hometown and they will go again to manila after summer vacation because the school will start after that.
Last 2 days ago, it was my niece's birthday and my sister is preparing something for her daughter. It was one of the best celebration of the year.

My sister always prepare something for her daughter's birthday and way back before, she also prepared for their birthday. It was my 6th birthday and the theme of that day was a Rockstar. So, they dressed up like a Rockstar with their family.
We only have prepared small for my niece's birthday and the usual thing that if there is a birthday, there will be cake. Yes, There is a cake with rock star theme. We cooked four kinds of food, rice, desserts, and sweets but we don't order or bought a "Lechon" because of our tight budget. For the cooked food, there were curry chicken, a visayan pork nilagpad, and the other 2 dishes that were also one of my favorites.
For the desserts, we make macaroni salad, bought cakes and cupcakes with lollipop cakes, cassava cake, brownies, steamed rice, and this "Chantilly".
We thought that my sister has lots of visitors on that day but we were surprised that there were only two visitors came and they were her closed friends or shall I say best friends together and also we invited our relatives to celebrate together.
We, then, invite our neighbors to celebrate our niece's birthday after the two visitors went home.
We happily invited them because we can't finished the food in one day and for them to celebrate together, too. There were a couple of kids from our relatives came and they also got a gift, mostly sweets.
I am happy as my niece were also happy for her birthday and there were a couple of gifts that she received on her birthday. For my gift, I gave her money to buy the things or food that she likes.
