I thought my trip to Turkey was over, but it turns out, it’s not over at all because there are some places I haven’t shown you yet. That is Ephesus, the Ancient City. Previously, in my previous post, I only showed a small part of the ancient city of Ephesus which is full of ancient Greek history. Of course, I still have many parts I haven’t shown you yet.

Let’s get it!

Let's start from this souvenir shop. These souvenir shops sell various Turkish handicrafts as souvenirs. All are typical of Turkey. What is impressive about these shops is, that the sellers can speak Indonesian. They can use Indonesian to mention the prices. As my tour guide said, the employees in the shops in Turkey have Indonesian language courses to make it easier to make transactions with Indonesian tourists. What a cool!

As you can see the last part of the city of Ephesus is just a ruin. Even so, the ruins were once part of the very ancient city of Ephesus. At that time, Ephesus was still undergoing restoration so that historical tours for tourists could continue to be carried out.

From this photo, you can definitely conclude that Ephesus is located between the Selcuk mountains. It is a very cool place even though it’s a sunny day. I’m imagining how the life of the Ancient Greeks was in the midst of such magnificent nature. Although far from modern, it must still be fun because Ephesus is truly beautiful.

This is one of the gates in Ephesus City that has been damaged. This is my favorite gate. I took this photo with a good angle (I have to praise myself for that). This is probably the gate that connected Ephesus to other cities. The materials used are still standing strong even after experiencing many seasons.

This is the way out of Ephesus. Right on the right is a road with tall pine trees growing on both sides. I love the ambiance in the middle of these pine trees. Although the road is uphill and makes your feet tired, it is the best part of walking around Ephesus, namely being under the shady pine trees.

We even saw cute cats. Although I don't like playing with cats, I still admit that the cats we met in Ephesus were very beautiful and cute. Look at how excited my friend was to see this cat.
