I saw this contest and I decided to share my view.
Theme-:"If You Could Meet Your Younger Self, What Would You Say?"
Hey younger self,
be careful with life. Don't take it too heavy less it becomes a burden. Don't be carried away by the fancy things of the world.
Learnt contentment, as this will help you to stay focused.
Be honest, while dealing with people, even if they are not honest with you, don't worry; God has a better way of paying you back.
Remember, grace may not pay, but the originator of grace does. And if He comes, greater reward abounds.
Whatever thing you're given to do, as long as it's in accordance with the law, do it with devotedness, because it has a way of sharpening your rough adges in life.
Don't follow the multitude to do wrong.
Remember, wrong deeds has a way of paying back too. Follow your mind and don't be misled by people.
Integrity is one of the core units of life. Make it an habit.
Do to others as you may wish others do to you.
Be strong when you're tempted or hurt. Remember, God's grace will always abound.
Avoid abusive words when you're angry, as you may not be able to reverse.
In tribulation, stand still. And be of good courage. Remember, nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Forgive others, so that God will forgive you too.
Pray faithfully, as that's the only way your prayers will be answered.
Avoid living a life of hatred with others.
Don't forget, what you give to the world, the same may come back to you.
Remember, what goes around, comes around.
From the older version of myself, I've learnt these principles. Follow same and you'll stand tall in life.
These would be my advice to my younger self, if I meet her.
