Forced Vacation… or How My Body Made the Decision for Me 😅

So, I’m officially on vacation… about a week and a half earlier than planned.
And no, I didn’t win the lottery or plan some genius time off — my shoulder just decided to take matters into its own hands.

After a work accident, my first thought was: “Eh, it hurts a bit, but I’ll be fine… I can still work, just take it easy.”
Well… that didn’t age well.

Today, the medical expert had a different opinion and put me on sick leave until mid-August. Diagnosis: a displaced clavicle. Yeah… sounds about as fun as it feels.

So now the plan is: X-rays, maybe physiotherapy, and most importantly… not lifting my arm.
Which is funny, because you suddenly realize how often you actually need your arm. Even grabbing a glass of water feels like a boss fight.

Honestly, I would’ve preferred going to work instead of dealing with pain every time I move. But hey… do we really have a choice?
Might as well try to see the bright side: “vacation mode” unlocked… even if it comes with a pain DLC.

Meanwhile, on the project side, things are still moving forward slowly but surely.
Some of you may have noticed that the GLYPH token is getting active again.

The automated curation bot has distributed 0.0003 to each user it voted for in the past 24 hours. Yeah, it sounds small… but considering it’s worth almost 1 swap.hive per token, it adds up 👀
In total, 242 people received a share. And good news: the next distribution is coming in 24 hours.

As for me, I’m still working toward my long-term goal of reaching 5000 BEE to further develop this token.
Right now I’m sitting at 400… so let’s say I’m still warming up rather than sprinting 😄

So here’s the plan for the next few days:
wake up early like I’m going to work… except I’m not. At least not physically.

I’ll use this time to be more active on PeakD and Hive-Engine, and try to push my projects forward faster.

Turns out, even with a messed-up clavicle, you can still move forward… just a bit slower, and with one arm on standby.

Stay tuned for the next episode: “Rehabilitation — or how to rediscover the true value of having two working arms” 💪😅
