8.08% APR from Curation: How Can I Improve My Results?

At the moment, my return from curation is 8.08% APR. Although this remains an interesting result, I am wondering how I could gradually improve it in order to reach a return of 10% or more, if possible.
For now, I do not see many solutions other than adjusting certain settings in my automated voting system. I could, for example:
- reduce the percentage of voting power used for each post;
- lower the requirements for receiving a vote;
- vote on a larger number of posts;
- adjust the minimum number of words required;
- try to distribute my voting mana more efficiently throughout the day.
However, every change can have an impact on the quality of my curation. My current system is configured to prioritize posts containing 500 words or more, written by authors with a good reputation. This method allows me to filter content more effectively and avoid distributing my votes too randomly.
Should I Lower My Voting Requirements?
I am therefore wondering whether it would be worthwhile to reduce the minimum length requirement for posts, for example by lowering it from 500 words to 450 words.
I could also slightly reduce the voting power used for each vote, going from 3.5% to 3%, in order to preserve more voting mana and vote on a larger number of posts.
This change might allow me to support more authors and increase the number of votes I distribute. However, I still do not know whether this strategy would genuinely improve my APR. I need to find the right balance between:
- the number of votes distributed;
- the quality of the selected posts;
- the amount of voting mana available;
- the curation value generated by each vote;
- the consistency of the rewards received.
The goal is not simply to vote more, but above all to vote more efficiently. If I lower my criteria too much, I may end up distributing votes on posts that generate fewer curation rewards. On the other hand, if my requirements are too strict, I may not use enough of my voting mana.
I will therefore continue to monitor my results before making any permanent changes to my settings. I may gradually test different configurations in order to compare their impact on my APR.
New Leasing Offers
In the meantime, I have also set up several new leasing offers on Hive-Engine:

I use the system provided directly by Hive-Engine so that the entire process is automated. This saves me from having to manually perform calculations, transfers, and reward distributions.
Thanks to this system, people who lease my tokens can automatically receive their BEE every day, without requiring any manual intervention from me.

This system also allows me to make use of my unused tokens while providing a simple solution for people who want to receive BEE on a daily basis. Automation is a real advantage because it reduces the risk of errors and ensures that rewards are distributed regularly.
My Current Goal: Reaching 20,000 Personal HP
For now, my main objective remains to gradually reach 20,000 personal HP.
I prefer to move forward step by step and build a solid foundation before developing my other Hive-Engine-related projects further. Once I reach this milestone, I will be able to seriously consider other curation strategies and the possibility of earning several different tokens through my votes.
I have already started working on some of these future possibilities alongside my current activities, but my main priority at the moment is still accumulating my own HP. This additional voting power will give me greater influence in curation and allow me to distribute larger rewards.
Even after reaching 20,000 HP, I intend to continue offering leasing options through Hive-Engine:

The goal will then be to combine several sources of income and rewards:
- curation rewards on Hive;
- earnings from Hive-Engine tokens;
- automated leasing offers;
- daily BEE distributions;
- and, eventually, the curation of other tokens.

GLYPH Curation Rewards
My curation reward bot also continues to distribute rewards within 48 hours after a vote. Users who receive a curation reward are sent 0.0003 GLYPH.
The value of GLYPH is currently being developed through a curation-token system that I am gradually putting in place. This system is designed to support the token’s utility and create a stronger connection between curation activity and GLYPH rewards.

Conclusion
My current APR of 8.08% is already an encouraging foundation, but I would like to continue improving it. I will therefore analyze my statistics more closely to determine whether reducing my voting requirements could be beneficial.
Lowering the minimum post length from 500 to 450 words and slightly reducing my voting power from 3.5% to 3% might allow me to vote on more posts while preserving enough voting mana. However, I prefer to proceed gradually so that I do not reduce the overall quality of my curation.
For now, I am therefore pursuing two main objectives:
- Gradually improve my curation APR.
- Reach 20,000 personal HP.
Once I reach this first milestone, I will be able to develop my Hive-Engine token strategies more seriously and try to generate even more rewards through curation.
I will, of course, keep you updated on the progress of my results and on any future changes I make to my voting system.
