A Slow Day Between TV Shows and Programming
Today, I literally didn’t do anything particularly productive. I woke up quite late, with my head completely foggy. I had a hard time concentrating, and even the smallest task took me a lot of time. I really felt like I was moving in slow motion, as if my brain had decided to switch to power-saving mode.
I’m also starting to realize that I’m no longer quite at the age where I can watch a TV show all night and still wake up early the next morning without suffering the consequences. When you’re younger, you can sometimes watch episodes until morning and still manage to get through the day. But now, a nearly sleepless night is immediately noticeable: tiredness, lack of concentration, slowness, and difficulty doing even the simplest things.
Fortunately, I still have two weeks of vacation left to recover properly. I have enough time to get back to a more normal rhythm and enjoy a few good nights of sleep. However, I also need to be careful not to completely shift my sleeping schedule during my vacation, because going back to work could be particularly difficult if I get used to going to bed very late and waking up around noon.
The funniest part is that even though I watched an entire season of the show, I would probably be unable to summarize it properly. During the night, my brain clearly wasn’t functioning. I couldn’t really sleep, so I simply started the next episode, then another one, without actually remembering what was happening.
I was more in a state where I was watching the images go by than truly paying attention to the story. I will probably have to watch some of the episodes again under better conditions if I want to understand and remember the plot. So, watching a TV show in the middle of the night while exhausted does not necessarily mean that you’ll remember it the next day. 😅
A Small Programming Project
On top of that, yesterday afternoon I thought, mostly as a joke: why not continue learning how to code by creating a small clicker game?
The idea came to me while thinking about the possibility of creating a game using the GLYPH token one day. I already have a few ideas in mind, although they are still quite unclear and would require a lot of work to become a real project.
So, I started developing a very simple prototype, mainly for fun and to keep learning. For now, I don’t really have the resources to host it properly, and I’m probably not experienced enough yet to create a real online game integrated with the Hive blockchain, including a token, interactions, and everything else that would involve.
But even though this project is still very basic, I already find the result quite encouraging. It may only be a prototype, but it allows me to gradually understand how code works, test different ideas, and most importantly, see my progress.
A Project for Learning
For now, I’m mainly doing this to have fun and discover new things. I don’t yet know whether this game will ever be completed or published online. It may simply remain a personal project or a programming exercise.
But ultimately, that is not really a problem. The main goal is to learn. Every new feature helps me better understand programming logic, variables, buttons, upgrades, and the different interactions that can be included in a game.
Even a small basic prototype can therefore be useful. You don’t necessarily have to start with a huge project. Sometimes, creating something very simple is a good way to make progress without becoming discouraged. And who knows? This prototype might one day become the foundation for a more ambitious idea.
So, I’m going to continue working on it slowly, without putting pressure on myself. For now, it is mainly an exercise and a way to spend time while developing new skills.

Alongside this, I’m also continuing with curation and working toward my personal goal of reaching 20,000 HP.

I’m also continuing to offer BEE leases on behalf of @benef.tribes. The purpose of this account is to gradually accumulate BEE over the long term so that, when possible, it can contribute to the improvement and development of the GLYPH token.
For now, I’m continuing to move forward little by little with several things: curation, building up my HP, leasing, and learning programming.
Even if some days are much less productive than others, the important thing is to keep making progress, even slowly. After all, learning takes time, and every small project can bring something useful for the future.
I’m going to try to make the most of these remaining two weeks to rest, get back to a more reasonable sleeping schedule, and continue working quietly on my different projects. Maybe, with a little more energy, my brain will finally start working properly again. 😄
