GLYPH
The token has finally started showing activity again over the past few days, quietly. Some of you have probably received GLYPH tokens in your Hive-Engine wallet (Tribaldex).
Why did you receive some?
If you received some in your wallet, it means you wrote a post of more than 500 words that was detected and upvoted at 3.5%, and that you have a good reputation.
If you didn’t know, I run a curation bot that scans the blockchain and votes under certain conditions.
Condition #1: Not being blacklisted
Condition #2: Having a good reputation
Condition #3: Having a post with more than 500 words
The bot scans the blockchain every 15 minutes.
If you meet these conditions and were not upvoted, please let me know. I’m not originally a developer and I’m learning how to build bots at the same time.
What is the GLYPH token used for?
The answer might surprise you, but basically this token has no real use. You can keep it, give it away, sell it, buy it, or burn it — it’s yours, do whatever you want with it.
The bot distributes around 0.0003 within 24 to 48 hours to each person it has upvoted.
There are 658.67030015 currently in total circulation.
2.02 have been burned to @null — why? I don’t know.
They are currently all being bought back at 0.923 each.
There are some for sale if you want any, but for now placing a sell wall helps limit the maximum price.
There is a whole Hive-Engine token trading system, curation, mini-games on HIVE, and so on, to help maintain or increase the price when possible.
What’s next?
To move forward, I’m trying to accumulate 5000 BEE:
- 1000 BEE to put into staking (it won’t be useful at first, but later — see below)
- 1000 BEE to enable delegation (still no immediate use here)
- 1000 BEE to make it possible to earn through curation on certain #tags, like many other tokens (if you have some staked and vote on certain tags, you earn rewards)
- 1000 BEE to try to understand the lottery system where you could win fractions through hourly draws
- The last 1000 BEE to see what else I can build
Why try to do all this?
Just for fun.
But I’m still far from it — I haven’t even reached 500 BEE yet. I have other priorities at the same time.

I’m trying to reach 20K personal HP to run the curation.
From time to time, I post HP leasing offers on Hive-Engine — I’ll post more this weekend.
Regarding curation token #tags:
I have @benef.alive which is currently staking ALIVE, HEARTBEAT, and PEPE.
Part of the earnings is staked, and another part funds my projects.
For now, I’m stacking PEPE for a future curation project on this token (account not yet created).
Then I have @benef.bbho which stakes BBH, BBHO, BBHM and does the same.
@benef.archon, @benef.cent, and @benef.neoxian are already created but currently inactive and without tokens.
In short, I’m just having fun as you can see 😄
