It’s wonderful to share my visit to Los Bordones Beach, located on Universidad Avenue in the San Luis neighborhood of the Sucre municipality, Cumaná, Venezuela—a natural treasure in the heart of Sucre.

Es maravilloso compartir mi visita a La playa Los Bordones, "Ubicada en la avenida Universidad, sector San Luis del municipio Sucre, Cumaná.- VENEZUELA, un tesoro natural en el corazón de Sucre.

San Luis is the longest beach in Sucre Department, stretching over 1,500 meters of calm waters. It includes the Los Bordones area, a beautiful tourist spot popular with both locals and visitors, where you can enjoy this natural setting and all it has to offer with your loved ones.

San Luis es la playa mas extensa del estado Sucre, ofreciendo más de 1.500 metros de longitud de aguas tranquilas, en donde esta el sector Los Bordones, el cual es un hermoso lugar turístico muy visitado por lugareños y turistas, donde podrías disfrutar con tus seres queridos de este ambiente natural y todos sus elementos.

To get to Los Bordones Beach, I took a public van from the city’s overpass. The fare is 100 bolivars, which is about $0.20. This service runs from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. I left for the bus stop at 1:00 p.m. and arrived in just 10 minutes.

Para trasladarse a playa Los Bordones, tomé una van de transporte público desde el paso elevado de la ciudad. La tarifa es de 100 bolívares, lo que serían aproximadamente $0.20. Este transporte trabaja de 7.00 Am a 8.00 Pm, Salí a las 1 Pm, de mi hogar a la parada y solo llegué en 10 minutos.

This place is a very popular and busy area, as it offers many food and drink stands with a wide variety of menu items at reasonable prices, ranging from empanadas, arepas, chicken, and hamburgers to soups and exotic dishes featuring fresh and delicious seafood. Today I ordered a meal for two that cost 27$. It also has parking.

Este lugar es una zona muy popular y concurrida, ya que ofrece muchos kioskos de ventas de comida y bebidas con un menú muy variada y buenos precios, desde empanadas, arepas, pollo, hamburguesas sopas y platos exóticos con frutos del mar frescos y delicioso. Este día ordené un plato para dos personas con un costo de 27$ También tiene estacionamiento.

You can also rent beach umbrellas and beach huts right on the water, go on boat rides, and even take horseback rides. You’ll have a great time here, because there’s a lively atmosphere with great live music, and during the high season, they host cultural activities, competitions, and music and sports events.

También, hay alquileres de toldos y rancheria frente del mar, paseos en botes, y hasta en Caballo. Aqui la pasas fenomenal, porque hay mucho ambiente con buena música en vivo, y en temporada alta realizan actividades culturales, competencias y espectaculos de música y deportes.

On weekends, you’ll see lots of people enjoying the atmosphere. This beach has calm waters, gentle waves, and fine white sand. You can relax under the shade of uvero or coconut trees, enjoying the cool sea breeze and clear blue sky, accompanied by the sounds of local birds. When I arrived, I sat down in front of a kiosk and ordered a few beers.

Los fines de semana es cuando podrías ver muchas personas disfrutando del ambiente, esta playa es de aguas tranquilas, suave oleaje leve, arenas finas y blanca y te puedes alojar bajo de las plantas de uveros o las de coco, y disfrutar de la brisa fresca del mar y su cielo despejado con el sonido de las aves típicas del lugar. Al llegar me ubique frente de un kiosko allí ordené unas cervezas.

As evening falls, you can enjoy a sunset filled with shades of gold, orange, and pink; many people come to the beach to capture these moments, which make for the best sunset photos by the sea. That’s why it has become a favorite spot for many tourists and locals alike.

Al caer la tarde podrías disfrutar de el atardecer lleno de colores dorados, naranjas y rosados, muchas personas se acercan a la playa a capturar, son lo mejores fotografias de atardeceres en el mar. Por eso se ha vuelto la favorita de muchos turistas y lugareños.

After enjoying a wonderful day surrounded by nature, we headed home as evening fell. If you come to Cumaná, you can visit this beautiful beach—the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun and the sea right in the heart of the city. That’s all for now, my fellow adventurers.
