Soy fans de las tortillas son tan versátiles y fáciles de hacer, podemos combinarlas tanto con vegetales y proteínas. En esta ocasión le agregué Cebolla y Calabacín y su resultado delicioso. Las cebollas son una hortaliza que siempre tengo en mi despensa, la uso muchos en mis platos tanto cruda o cocida. Es rica en compuestos antioxidantes como la quercetina, fibra y minerales, ofreciendo beneficios como la reducción del colesterol, propiedades antiinflamatorias.
Esta es mi entrada para el concurso semanal de @qurator. Aquí mi receta a mi estilo.
I’m a big fan of omelets—they’re so versatile and easy to make, and you can pair them with both vegetables and protein. This time, I added onions and zucchini, and the result was delicious. Onions are a vegetable I always have in my pantry; I use them a lot in my dishes, both raw and cooked. They’re rich in antioxidants like quercetin, fiber, and minerals, offering benefits such as lowering cholesterol and anti-inflammatory properties.
This is my entry for @qurator’s weekly contest. Here’s my recipe, my way.

4 Cebollas

1 calabacín (Opcional)

4 Huevos

1 cucharada de harina de trigo

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1.- Comenzando Picando las cebollas en cubos pequeños al igual que el calabacín.
Start by dicing the onions and zucchini into small cubes.
2.-Colocamos un chorrito de aceite en el sartén, al calentar agregamos las cebollas salteamos unos segundos.
Add a splash of oil to the skillet; once it’s hot, add the onions and sauté for a few seconds.
3.- Agregamos el calabacín picado, revolvemos. Batimos los huevos con ayuda de una batidora electrica o licuadora.
Add the chopped zucchini and stir. Beat the eggs using an electric mixer or blender.
4- Preparamos el agua con la harina, y añadimos al guiso, esto le dara un espesor y jugosidad a la tortilla, mezclamos el huevo batido con el guiso de la cebolla, añadimos la sal y pimienta al gusto.
Mix the flour with water and add it to the mixture; this will give the omelet its thickness and juiciness. Then mix the beaten egg into the onion mixture.Add salt and pepper to taste.
5- Es hora de preparar la tortilla, calentando el aceite con poco aceite, agregamos la mezcla y tapamos, cocinamos por ambos lados, yo voltie la tortilla con ayuda de un plato.
