Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage challenge for this week. I will be describing one of my battles with the given ruleset. I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account for all battles.

Summoner chosen
For this battle, I chose the **** summoner to give my monsters +1 shield and to allow me choose one special monster.
Battle Tactics
I wanted to go with as many low speed monsters as possible so I could attack first and evade as many attacks as possible.
In first position, I selected Imperial Knight for its void armor ability and speed of 2.
I selected Harbringer of Chaos in second position for its divine shield ability and speed of 2.
In the third position, I selected Venari Markstrat for its speed of 1 and martyr ability.
In the fourth position I selected Captain Katie for its bloodlust ability and speed of 2. I know because of the bloodlust which increases the speed, this may not have been a good idea but I had hopes it would work in my favour.
In the fifth position, I selected Dax Paragon for its speed of 2.
In the last position, I selected Venari Crystalsmith for its heal abilities.
Battle Details
Summoner buffs and units debuffs took effect and the battle began. My enemy's first and last monster attacked my first monster while my third and first monster attacked my enemy's first monster. My fourth monster with its snipe ability attacked my enemy's third while my second and fifth monsters attacked the first. My enemy's third attacked, my last monster attacked and my enemy ending the first round with a double 3 melee attack on my first monster.
The second round began and in the middle of the round, my team killed my enemy's first monster. My enemy's new second monster retaliated by killing my first monster.
Towards the end of round 3, my initial second monster who became the first monster was killed by my enemy's team.
My Captain Katie killed my enemy's second monster and gained +stats at the start of round 4. My enemy's first monster killed my Venari Marstrat causing the martyr to take effect and further giving Captain Katie +1 stats.
Captain Katie killed my enemy's first monster in the fifth round, gained + stats and killed the next monster in the sixth round. In the seventh round, my team killed my enemy's remaining monster and won the battle.
