Invito a @mvart a participar.

Hello, dear @Topfivefamily community! It’s a pleasure to participate in this new contest We are talking about Christmas.

When I say it "smells like Christmas," it’s because you start to see little touches—from decorations to sweets—that are part of the season. This only builds the excitement for Christmas to arrive! It’s not just about spending more time with family, or giving and receiving gifts (especially for the children), or the lights that brighten everything up with such joy—I also absolutely love the Christmas treats. I remember that when I was little, as the season approached and these items began to appear, I would tell my mom I wanted those special Christmas cookies—the ones that only came out this time of year. They were delicious, and I loved their shapes—trees, bears, and ornaments. Beyond being tasty, they were just fun to look at! The variety available made it so exciting—wondering what flavor you might get or what shape you’d discover next—it was all so thrilling, especially when I was a child.

Seeing these Christmas touches or sweets brings back a sense of nostalgia. It remains a joyful season—especially because of my son, who truly loves setting up the Christmas tree and the nativity scene, hanging the lights, arranging the treats, and, above all, waiting for his gifts—he wouldn’t have it any other way! At the same time, it’s a period when emotions tend to be more tender than usual; you find yourself reflecting on years past, remembering those who are no longer with you, and thinking about how things were different back then—moments that will never return. While we know we cannot go back to those years, the arrival of the Christmas season serves as a reminder that another year has passed—for better or worse—bringing changes and taking things away, yet ultimately offering the chance to forge a new path forward.

I invite @mvart to participate.
