Hace algún tiempo quería hacer un paseo por la redoma del avión de Maracay, nunca me había bajado en esa redoma que hoy en día está tan hermosa, la verdad he visto pocas personas tomando fotos en esta redoma, y he visto algunos turistas que se bajan a tomar fotografías, pero son pocas las personas que se bajan allí, y realmente es algo que vale la pena visitar y tomar fotografías, esta redoma parece un campo de fútbol, de lo grande que se ve al estar allí.
La redoma del avión fue un homenaje a Maracay por ser la cuna de la aviación, fue por el año 1970 que hicieron está redoma, para mi es como la entrada bonita de la ciudad, creo que todo el que ha ido a Maracay ha podido pasar por este bello monumento del avión, allí hay unas hermosas plantas que plantaron que le dan vida y un hermoso paisaje para el.que la visita y la ve desde lo lejos.
Me gustó ir y ver algunos pájaros revoloteando en la grama y en las plantas, mientras me acercaba estos volaban un poco más allá, imagino que no están acostumbrados a ver muchas personas, pero si me di cuenta que esta muy limpia la redoma, la grama baja que provoca hacer un picni allí, llevar niños a jugar con la pelota, un lugar de verdad donde se aprecia el cielo y la naturaleza.
Donde esta puesto el avión esta pintado co la bandera de Venezuela y sus estrellas, se ve extraordinariamente bien, y luego arriba el pequeño avión que me pude dar cuenta que algunos pájaros han hecho nido allí, esta rodeado de naturaleza, este pequeño avión es un North American T-6 Texan, como dato curioso fue usado en la segunda guerra mundial y fue un regalo a la aviación y desde hace 55 años permanece aquí, desde que lo he visto siempre ha estado muy bien pintado con toques de colores de la bandera de Venezuela.

There’s also a small saman tree here that covers part of the dome; although the branches are very large, this small saman manages to cover a small area where there’s also a little garden of plants underneath it. I imagine they have sprinklers to water all the domes, and there are also lights underneath the plane that illuminate it when night falls, so you can see part of this dome lit up.
I loved this little stroll; I really enjoyed being able to take a photo there next to the World War II plane for the first time—incredible, isn’t it? That’s the beauty of these walks.
