La casada la cultura de mi ciudad Maracay fue creada en el año 1961 y esta ubicada en la av. 19 de abril, del lado izquierdo esta el Museo aeronáutico y está es conocida por la mayoría de los Araguaeños, aquí hay una gran biblioteca, recuerdo cuando estaba en bachillerato debíamos ir a investigar allí ya que no habían computadoras y siemñre debíamos recurrir a libros que nos ayudarán a investigar y eran esos los recursos que utilizábamos, aún existe está biblioteca, no he entrado no sé si estará igual, pero su fa hada siemñre se conserva, lo que van ca.biando son los colores de pintura y algunas mejoras sde ambiente.
La casa de la cultura pertenece a la alcaldía de Girardot y es un espacio donde se imparte un ambiente para promover la cultura del estado, es el corazón del arte en este pequeño estado Aragua, aqui se han formado músicos, artistas de teatro, pintores y escultores, profesionales en artes visuales entre otros, los cuales detallo a continuación de los espacios que aquí en la casa de la cultura.

Frente la casa de la cultura está la escultura de Santos Michelena, para honrarlo ya que el nació en Maracay y
Fue un diplomático, político y escritor orgullo de nuestro estado Aragua, por ello está frente a la casa de la cultura, aquí también hay piedras pintadas y algunas obras de arte, pequeñas y grandes que le dan vida al espacio.
Lo que pude ver es que los pasillos se ven muy limpios, aquí siempre hay personas caminando de lado a lado, como fui temprano no habían muchas personas, y hay espacios muy bien cuidados y con grama artificial, en otro espacio habían personas practicando música tipo orquesta, con saxofón, trompetas y más, le tomé una foto desde lejos.
Me pude dar cuenta que los espacios de la grama si estaban un poco descuidados, al ser la alcaldía los dueños deberían darle más amor a este espacio, la parte del estacionamiento es bastante grande para todos los que vienen a disfrutar de estos espacio culturales.
Por otra parte a un lado está una pequeña plaza llamada la plaza Rotaria o Rotary de Maracay, allí hay una pequeña placa que dice que fue fundada en 1944, en el medio de la plaza hay un Manolito de mármol de 3 metros de altura, y algunas bancas para sentarse y árboles que permiten que está plaza sea muy fresca y lugar donde se hacen muchos actos culturales.
