Los cumpleaños para mi son muy significativos y nunca deben pasar desapercibidos, para mi es una bendición y hay que ser agradecidos por cumplir un año más de vida, porque es una muestra de bondad poder tener un nuevo año con nuevas hojas de vida para llenar por ello escogí la pregunta número 2 que nos deja la amiga @irenenavarroart ¿Te gusta celebrar tu propio cumpleaños? O eres de las que disfruta más celebrar el cumpleaños de los demas? Que te gustaría hacer para tu próximo cumpleaños?
Como dije antes me gusta celebrar los cumpleaños, desde que estaba pequeña me celebraron todos mis cumpleaños, y es que era difícil reunir a la familia un primero de enero que es cuando cumplo años, pero cuando estaba pequeña mi familia siempre estuvo presente, mis padres haciendo una gran fiesta con piñata, torta, bebidas, dulces y refrescos, esas eran unas grandes fiestas, cuando comencé ya la adolescencia no eran tantas las personas y luego fueron menos ya que cada quien hace su vida y muchas personas se mudaron y otros ya no están.
Si me gusta celebrar mi cumpleaños porque como dije es importante para mi, pero ahora lo celebró con personas más cercanas mi pequeña y hermosa familia, ahora no lo hago en casa sino que me gusta salir ese día, me gusta pasarlo diferente ver cosas nuevas y compartir con quienes de verdad me aman y quieren lo mejor para mi, ese día es especial y por ello siempre tratamos de hacer algo diferente, pero ese día no puede faltar la torta.
Claro tampoco estoy negada a que algunas de mis amistades me sorprendan con una torta o algo para celebrar mi cumple, y así a pasado pero no el día de mi cumpleaños por ser primero de enero, por eso nosotros hacemos otra cosa diferente ese día, y que tus amistades te celebren ese día es algo que apreció mucho, algunos años don diferentes, pero estoy agradecida por cada uno de mis cumpleaños.
Para mí próximo cumpleaños, quiero irme de viaje, me encantaría pasarlo con mi familia en la ciudad de Mérida, disfrutar de ese clima frío y recorres muchos de esos hermosos paisajes, extraño visitar esa bonita ciudad de Venezuela por ello quisiera pasar mi cumpleaños allí, algo tranquilo y con un buen trozo de torta.

As I said before, I like celebrating birthdays. Ever since I was little, they’ve celebrated all my birthdays, and it was hard to get the family together on January 1st, which is when my birthday is, but when I was little my family was always there—my parents throwing a big party with a piñata, cake, drinks, candy, and soda. Those were great parties. When I hit my teens, there weren’t as many people, and then there were even fewer as everyone went their separate ways—many people moved away, and others are no longer with us.
I do like to celebrate my birthday because, as I said, it’s important to me, but now I celebrate it with the people closest to me—my small, beautiful family. I don’t celebrate at home anymore; instead, I like to go out that day. I like to do something different, see new things, and spend time with those who truly love me and want the best for me. That day is special, so we always try to do something different, but a cake is a must.
Of course, I’m not opposed to some of my friends surprising me with a cake or something to celebrate my birthday, and that has happened—though not on my actual birthday since it falls on January 1st. That’s why we do something different on that day, and having your friends celebrate you on that day is something I really appreciate. Some years are different, but I’m grateful for every single one of my birthdays.
For my next birthday, I want to go on a trip. I’d love to spend it with my family in the city of Mérida, enjoy that cool weather, and explore many of those beautiful landscapes. I miss visiting that lovely city in Venezuela, so I’d like to spend my birthday there—something peaceful with a nice slice of cake.
