El parque Ayacucho nos queda relativamente cerca de la casa, sin embargo, tenemos que trasladarnos aproximadamente siete cuadras para llegar. Es más sencillo ir a la cancha que la tenemos apenas a tres cuadras de distancia.
Ayacucho Park is relatively close to our house, but we have to walk approximately seven blocks to get there. It is easier to go to the soccer field, which is only three blocks away.
El fin de semana, Jeremías estuvo conmigo. Eso no pasaba desde hace aproximadamente quince días, luego que tuviera un accidente que me dejó de reposo por un par de semanas hasta sentirme apto para poder ir a buscarlo y poder atenderlo como normalmente hago. En los alrededores están ubicadas varias escuelas y centros educativos para niños, motivos por los cuales a todas las horas del día puedes encontrar niños que vienen saliendo de sus colegios y deciden pasarse un rato por el parque. Los fines de semana no es diferente porque también hay escuelas de música u otras actividades extracurriculares.

Después de la pandemia se instaló un módulo policial dentro y desde entonces se ha mantenido, por lo que es importante para sentirse seguro en medio de este gran espacio que sin lugar a dudas ha perdido un poco el tránsito. Todavía no es ni la sombra de la cantidad de movimiento que se podía encontrar en otrora. Quizás este aspecto lo haga más acogedor, pues te alejas de los agites naturales de la ciudad.
After the pandemic a police module was installed inside and since then it has been maintained, so it is important to feel safe in the middle of this large space that has undoubtedly lost some traffic. Pienso que lo más preciado para los niños y para cualquiera, es la libertad que puede sentirse al poder correr y jugar por este espacio tan amplio. Siento que los adultos hemos perdido un poco el amor, quizá la sensación básica de lo que es la libertad. La reclamamos, pero tal vez se nos ha olvidado un poco la esencia.
I think the most precious thing for children, and for anyone, is the freedom that can be felt in being able to run and play in such a large space. I feel that we adults have lost a little bit of the love, maybe the basic feeling of what freedom is. We claim it, but maybe we've forgotten the essence of it a little bit.
Disfruto cada momento con estos pequeñines, son geniales, pues tienen tanta facilidad para hacer amigos, son extrovertidos, amigables con todos los demás y pues sé que la pasan muy bien desde que llegamos hasta que nos vamos. Espero seguir proveyendo más espacios de tiempos de calidad para que la felicidad siga siendo algo común de sus día a día.
I enjoy every moment with these little ones, they are great, they are so easy to make friends with, they are outgoing, friendly with everyone and I know they have a great time from the moment we arrive until we leave. I hope to continue providing more quality time so that happiness continues to be a common part of their day to day lives.
