"Dress sense" If this question was asked some years ago, I would say I don't have a dress sense but the only thing I think I have is "looking good" and you know what the good news is currently "I have a fashion sense" applaud.
Most people look good without having a proper fashion sense "I was in that category" but not anymore. Growing up the kind of wear I had was all "churchy" Now blame it on my background and my naiveness.
Before now, the wear that can never be found in my wardrobe would have been "Trousers of any kind and sleeveless" Yeah! You heard right, those wears felt like a taboo, so I never wore any of them but then as I grew older and got admission into a higher institution I developed a different mindset, maybe I felt that if I had worn all these wears I mentioned above people would stop loving me or even look at me with a bombastic side eye but you know what I was wrong.
I was concerned about how people would perceive me, but then I realized that wasn't it, I began wearing certain clothes for myself and not minding what others would think or say. So back to the question, currently, you can find anything in my wardrobe but more of "skimpy dresses" not like "ayra star" kind of skimpy cause I've realized that skimpy now have levels.
An old wear thats still a favorite: I wanted to say, I didn't have any but I just recalled I had one, so a little story behind the ownership of that dress, I went to the market that day without the thoughts of getting any dress but I stumbled upon this beautiful dress since I was having little money to spare for that, I purchased it.
When I got home, I tried it on and it was giving me steeze and composure and I loved it. I've owned that dress for three years now and the bad news is that it has gotten smaller but yet I stored it in my wardrobe, sometimes when I'm cleaning I'd see it and just smile, I planned on giving it out soon or later "if I can" though. As my aunty will always say, there is something you would love so much that it will be difficult for you to let it go "That's me and that dress".
How often do I dress up well: I dress up well often like the weekdays because of the nature of my job, I wouldn't want to look like a miserable person while heading out to the office. I love to look good cause they say " first impression matters" and you are likely to be addressed the way you are dressed. So looking good is a good business for me and I have come to realize that you don't have to own all the beautiful clothes on earth before you look good, even with the few "you can dress up well".
Well, I'm gonna say " yes" My dressing plays a vital role in how I see myself and how others see me as well, it builds my confidence and helps me feel empowered, it shows I can do my job, and feel at my best.
