People often see a tattoo and focus on the artwork.
But for me, tattoos have never been just about appearance. They are reminders of chapters, lessons, struggles, and moments that shaped who I am today.
Every line, every detail, every color carries a piece of my story. Some memories are beautiful, some are painful, and some taught me lessons I never expected to learn. But all of them helped build the woman I have become.
As a lawyer and a single mother, I spend most of my days being practical, responsible, and focused on the future. Yet moments like this remind me that I am also someone with dreams, emotions, and experiences that deserve to be remembered.
Life leaves marks on all of us.
Some are visible.
Some are hidden.
Some become part of our skin.
Others become part of our soul.
The important thing is not avoiding the marks life leaves behind. The important thing is carrying them with pride, knowing they are proof that we lived, loved, struggled, and continued moving forward.
And when I look back at my journey, I don't see imperfections.
I see a story still being written. ๐ฆ
