The need for cooking gas is immense in our daily lives. Especially in urban life or in areas where there is no pipeline gas, LPG cylinders are the only hope. But with the current price of cooking gas increasing in the market, the survival of ordinary people has become a burden. Today, I bought a gas cylinder by spending 2,150 taka. Seeing this skyrocketing price, I honestly have no choice but to sigh.
If a middle-class or lower-class family has to spend more than 2,000 taka on gas every month or one and a half months, it becomes impossible to meet other expenses. The prices of everything from rice, pulses, oil, soap to daily necessities are now on the rise. Along with this, when the price of gas keeps increasing like this, the calculation of running a family is completely turned upside down. People cannot understand in which sector to reduce expenses and in which sector to increase.
There is no correlation between the price of goods and the income of the common people of our country. People with limited incomes are constantly being crushed by the grinding wheel of inflation. If the price of a very essential commodity like gas continues to increase like this, it will have a profound impact on people from all walks of life. It has a negative impact on everything from the cooking budget of housewives to the handouts of students. Many are forced to think about alternative fuels, but in modern life, it is also quite difficult to find alternatives to gas cylinders.
To overcome this situation, the concerned authorities need to pay urgent attention. Strengthening market monitoring and keeping the prices of fuel products within the purchasing power of the common man is very important. If the violence of syndicates or unscrupulous traders is not stopped, the suffering of the common man will increase day by day. We want the administration to strictly control the market so that the common man can breathe a little easier. Stopping this unbridled rise in prices is the biggest demand of the time.
