Sometimes, we don't need a big event to find satisfaction in our busy lives. A few local fruits and home-made flavors can make our minds feel better in an instant. Today, sitting at home on a lazy afternoon, we had such a wonderful experience. Suddenly, in the afternoon, we felt like eating something mouth-watering. So, everyone in the house planned and made a mouth-watering jambura makha.
The pictures show beautiful pink-colored jambura served in a white bowl. Each slice of the jambura seems to convey a different sweetness and flavor. It is mixed with lightly roasted dry chili and a little bit of salt. The roasted aroma of the dry chili and the taste of a bit of salt have taken the natural sour-sweet taste of the jambura to a whole other level. This bowl of gently roasted jambura looks as pleasant to look at as it tastes delicious.
After a heavy lunch or in a light afternoon, a bowl of Jambura Makha refreshes both the mind and soul. Especially when a bowl of Jambura Makha is shared with the whole family while chatting in the sunshine, the joy of that moment increases manifold. Jambura is not only delicious to eat, its juicy texture and perfect balance of sour-sweet and salty bring a strange satisfaction to the tongue.
Jambura Makha is one of the fruit makhas that always reign in the Bengali food list. Whether it is mashed with mild green chilies or roasted dry chilies, kasundi or just salt and sugar, its taste is always incomparable. Today's moment of eating this Jambura Makha was very enjoyable. The joy of making an ordinary afternoon special with such an extraordinary taste sensation is different. This beautiful pink color and delicious presence of the jambura seen in the picture is really bound to bring a smile to the face of any fruit lover.
