Last season, the Denver Broncos offense was bad in the 1st half of games & Sean Payton was the offensive play caller. The problem is the same this season but yet Davis Webb, the offensive play caller this season, got all the blame for Broncos 1st half struggles. Recently, Sean Payton took back play calling duties & the problem still exists. The Broncos' slow starts in games is because of Sean Payton. Payton is too conservative in the 1st half of games.
Now for the game itself, the Chiefs were in control after the first three quarters. The Broncos outscored the Chiefs 15-0 in the 4th quarter. The Broncos defense held Chiefs running back Frank Walker in check compared to the season opener where Walker ran all over the Broncos. The game came down to a goal line stand by the Denver defense sacking Patrick Mahomes on 4th down. A great ending to a football game!
