In the busyness of daily office work, one has to face various minor problems. Sometimes the computer malfunctions, sometimes the malfunction of a common tool used for work. One such incident happened today on a busy day. At a critical moment in work, I suddenly noticed that the cutter used for cutting yarn or cloth had become completely blunt. The cutter was not working properly, and the work was slowing down and a kind of annoyance was arising.

I know from experience that if you forcefully work with a blunt cutter, the finishing is bad and time is wasted. So without thinking, I decided to resharpen the cutter. Since there is a grinding machine in the office, this task became quite easy. As soon as I started the machine, the wheel started spinning at a very fast speed. I very carefully brought the sharp part of the cutter in contact with the spinning wheel.

The friction between the metal and the sharpening stone caused small sparks to spread all around. The light of the fire and the sound of the friction created a unique atmosphere in the silent environment of the office. To sharpen properly, one had to keep one's hands very still because a slight mistake could bend the cutter blade or accidentally cut one's hand.

After a few minutes of precise effort, the cutter blade became shiny and sharp as before. After testing, I found that cutting was no longer difficult. I felt relieved as the working tool was working again.

In fact, it is very important to keep an eye on the tools we use at work. When a tool or equipment is not working properly, it is wise to repair it without getting upset unnecessarily. Like today, I sharpened the blunt cutter again and returned to work with renewed enthusiasm. This small mechanical experience brought a great thrill to the busyness of work.
