Every day, we see many familiar faces in every nook and cranny of our busy city life. If you look closely, you will see some people who silently go about their work. One such familiar scene is a cobbler or ordinary craftsman sitting on the sidewalk and sewing people's torn shoes, bags or other things with utmost care. While capturing this picture today, a different feeling arose in my mind.
The picture shows a hardworking man repairing a black bag with great care on the side of the road. His main livelihood is scattered around him, some needles, threads, glue, polish and small tools. With these few tools, he struggles every day for a living. Be it sunny, rainy or stormy, he has to sit on the side of the road under this open sky every day. He may not have a big roof over his head, but the urge to survive and the insistence on putting a smile on his family's faces pull him to work every day.
In our society, we often see people in this profession with very ordinary eyes. But when they skillfully fix our old shoes or a suddenly torn bag, how much benefit they bring to us. In the crowd of big shopping malls or modern shops, the contribution of these small professionals is not small. They work honestly without any big capital and earn their living. They do not lend a hand to anyone, but rather spend their days with what they earn with the hard work of their own two hands.
The life struggle of these people teaches us a lot. No matter how difficult the path of life is, one cannot give up. With honesty and hard work, it is possible to live with one's head held high in any situation. Although this roadside craftsman has a tired look on his face, there is pure concentration in his work. While capturing this moment in the camera frame, it seemed that the stories of these ordinary people around us are actually extraordinary. Behind their sweaty labor, there is a history of a great life struggle. Let us all respect these hardworking people and appreciate their work.
