How many familiar scenes appear before our eyes on our daily walks. Small mobile shops sitting on the side of a busy road in a busy city or a district are an integral part of our rural heritage and culture. These shops are decorated with fresh fruits and various necessary vegetables. After dusk, when the surrounding environment becomes a little calm or the surroundings are illuminated by the headlights of vehicles, the appearance of these small businesses on the roadside creates a different atmosphere.
The picture shows one such small roadside shop where coconuts, lemons, ice cubes, papayas or various local fruits and vegetables are beautifully arranged. Many people always buy their necessary small markets from such shops on their way home after a busy day. These small traders on the sidewalk earn their living through hard work and deliver fresh and nutritious food to our doorstep.
The contribution of these small traders behind our national economy and culture is very important. Overshadowing the glitz of big shopping malls or supermarkets, these simple sidewalk shops are the biggest source of hope in the daily lives of our middle class and common people. This noisy environment on the roadside and the smell of fresh produce reminds us of the pull of our roots. Even in the midst of busyness, the smiles of these simple people and their honesty reveal the true beauty of our lives.
