Oops!... I Did It Again is the second studio album by American singer Britney Spears. The album was released on May 3, 2000 by Jive Records. Following the enormous commercial success of Britney Spears' debut studio album ...Baby One More Time (1999), she began recording material for her second studio album in September 1999. Britney Spears collaborated with a wide variety of producers on this album, including Max Martin, Rami Yacoub, David Kreuger, Per Magnusson, Kristian Lundin, Jake Schulze, Barry J. Eastmond, Darkchild, and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. "Oops!... I Did It Again" was a pop, dance-pop and teen pop record exceedingly in the vein of the Baby One More Time album, but incorporating funk and R&B.
Upon the album's release, the production, sonic quality and Britney Spears' vocal performance received critical acclaim from critics. Additionally, Oops!... I Did It Again was a huge commercial success worldwide and remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, with sales of over 20 million copies. Additionally, it reached number one in more than 20 countries. In the United States, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 1.319 million copies, holding the record for the fastest-selling album by a female artist and the largest first-week sales for a female album for 15 years. This record was surpassed by Adele's 25 (2015), which sold over 3.38 million copies in its first week. Oops!... I Did It Again was certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Thus, Britney Spears received the diamond certification consecutively, and in addition, Britney Spears became the youngest artist with multiple diamond albums. Britney Spears - Oops!... I Did It Again
After the great success of her album "...Baby One More Time", her second album "Oops!... I Did It Again" also achieved massive commercial success and was highly appreciated, which clearly showed how good Britney Spears was.
Britney Spears is undoubtedly the Princess of Pop and spearheaded the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The album has great songs like "Oops!... I Did It Again" and "Lucky", but I can say that my favorite song on this album is "Stronger".

"Lucky" and "Oops!... I Did It Again" touched on some of the same qualms, but Stronger did so with a much more determined tone. I especially love Britney Spears' defiant remarks and messages of empowerment in the song "Stronger". "I'm stronger than yesterday, Now it’s nothing but my way" is a meaningful message given both to a situation involving the negativities resulting from a breakup and to people. The message of empowerment combined with the catchy hook makes for a great song.
