HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I is a double album containing the ninth studio album and first greatest hits album of material released on the Epic label by American singer Michael Jackson. The album was released on June 20, 1995. Additionally, this album was Michael Jackson's fifth album released through Epic Records and his first to be released on his own record label, MJJ Productions. Additionally, the album features performances by Janet Jackson, Shaquille O'Neal, Notorious B.I.G and Slash. Genres span R&B, pop, and hip hop with elements of hard rock and funk rock. Themes include environmental awareness, isolation, suicide, greed, injustice, and Michael Jackson's conflicts with the media.
The album was a major commercial success, selling over 22 million copies worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling albums of all time and one of the best-selling multi-disc albums of all time. HIStory debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the United States, and in many countries. "You Are Not Alone" was the first song to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Although the album received generally positive reviews, the lyrics of "They Don't Care About Us" received criticism, Michael Jackson said they had been misinterpreted and replaced them on later pressings of the album.
Michael Jackson embarked HIStory World Tour on September 7, 1996, and the HIStory World Tour grossed $165 million (equivalent to $300 million today), making it the highest-grossing solo concert tour of the 1990s. It was also certified 8x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in August 2018. It was nominated for five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year at the 1996 Grammy Awards, and won Best Music Video – Short Form for "Scream". Additionally, Michael Jackson won the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Male Artist at the 1996 American Music Awards. The album remains one of the best-selling albums worldwide, with sales of over 22 million copies, and one of the best-selling multi-disc albums of all time.

Michael Jackson is simply a legend, I like almost all of his songs and I still enjoy listening to his songs no matter how old they are. He is gone, but his works will be with us forever.
Frankly, I love almost all of Michael Jackson's songs and his amazing performances, but if I had to name one song, it would definitely be "Billie Jean". Also, my father was favorite song is Billie Jean, so this song is very meaningful to me and has an important memory in me. My father used to tell me that there are 2 types of dancers: Michael Jackson and others.
